Be Curious outreach event

In May 2022 we attended the Be Curious event at the University of Leeds and organised two exhibits – one on electron microscopy where we had a benchtop scanning electron microscope and samples which included crystalline samples. Another exhibit was concerned with using Optical Microscopy to image the growth of crystals in three dimensions. The event was well attended by over a thousand families and children over the course of a Saturday lunchtime and afternoon.
