One-Day Symposium

Date

Crystallisation underpins a vast range of processes as diverse as the production of nanomaterials, ceramics, and pharmaceuticals, the generation of bones, teeth and seashells, weathering and frost-heave, ice and rock formation in our environment and the formation of scale in kettles and oil-wells. Thanks to recent advances in analytical techniques and modelling capabilities, the last 20 years have seen enormous progress in our understanding of crystallisation processes.

We are holding a one-day symposium at the University of Leeds to bring together researchers with interests in al. areas of crystallisation. We welcome established and early-career scientists, post-graduate students and industrial researchers interested in measuring, modelling and designing crystallisation processes.  Attendance is free and we encourage all to bring a poster and to stay to enjoy a reception/ poster session.
