- Position
- PhD Student
- Location
- University College London
Alex Broad has completed his PhD at UCL in November 2022, where his role was to assist in the development and application of new computational methods to model the effects of additives on inorganic crystal nucleation. His thesis title was "Tuning the growth and mechanical properties of calcite using impurities: insight from molecular simulation". He is now working for a software company in London.
Prior to this Alex graduated from Swansea University in 2017, then started his MSc at UCL, where he found an interest in the applications of statistical physics. This led him to an interest in crystal nucleation.
