Dr Veselina Marinova

Dr Veselina Marinova joined Dr Colin Freeman and Professor John Harding’s Group at the University of Sheffield in January 2020 until July 2023.  Her research was focused on identifying effective nucleating agents and understanding the basis for their behaviour through molecular simulations. She has now moved on to a company working on software for drug delivery.

Veselina completed a MChem Programme in 2016 at The University of Edinburgh and then moved on to doing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at UCL under the supervision of Matteo Salvalaglio.  Her research was focused on developing computational methods for growth and dissolution of molecular crystals, with particular emphasis on tackling conformational flexibility in a systematic way.
